האם כלכלה מקיימת באמת אפשרית כדרך חיים? האם אחנו יכולים ליישם אותה בחיי היומיום, בערים שלנו ובקהילות שלנו? לכלכלה מקיימת יש דרכים פרקטיות ליישום בכל תחומי החיים והחברה שלנו. בשיחה נדון איך הכלכלה המקיימת יכולה להשפיע על ניהול משק הבית שלנו, הדרך בה אנחנו עושים עסקים אחד עם השני, ואפילו על הדרך שלנו להצליח להמציא מערכות חינוך חדשניות בקהילות שלנו.
הצטרפו לשיחה שתובל על ידי ג׳יימי אליס, Jamey Ellis , תייר אמריקאי שנחת אצלנו ל-3 חודשים אחרי 9 שנים בהודו (!!!) , עוד חודש הוא עוזב , ועל הדרך עוצר לשיחה אצלנו בסלון! ג׳יימי חיי ומיישם כלכלה מקיימת מאז 2008, והוא לא לקח משכורת מאז. הוא שואף ליישם את העקרונות שלו בכל הפעולות שלו. הוא רוצה לספר לנו מה הכלים בהם הוא משתמש כדי להפוך את הפילוסופיות שלו למציאות .

נולד וגדל בארצות הברית ומתגורר, מאז שנת 2009, בעיקר ב״סאדהנה פורסט״ Sadhana Forest שבאורוויל , הודו. ג׳יימי טבעוני כבר 16 שנים ומתרגל גם כלכלת מתנות, חוסר תחרותיות, צרכנות ומחייה בנות קיימא, חינוך חופשי, התנהלות באפס פסולת, ועוד פרקטיקות וכלים פילוסופים שמטרתם לקדם אהימסה (אי-אלימות) ולטפח את האחריות כלפי האחר והסביבה.

Is gift economy possible as a way of living? Can we incorporate it into our daily lives, into our cities and our communities? Gift economy has practical applications through all aspects of our lives and society. We will discuss how it affects our households, or way of making business with each other, and even the potential of changing our schooling system within our communities.
Join us for a dialogue lead by Jamey Ellis. He has been practicing gift economy from 2008, not taking a salary since then, and attempting to bring his principles into all of his actions. He will discuss the tools and philosophies he utilizes to make this a reality.

Jamey Ellis is from the US but has lived primarily in Sadhana Forest India (Auroville) since 2009. He has been vegan for 16 years and practices gift economy, unschooling, non-competition, sustainable consumerism and living, personal zero waste management, and other philosophical and practical tools to pursue and promote ahimsa and stewardship towards each other and the planet.
